Watched a TV show where an American family went to live in rural Peru.
12 members of the Peru family had saved their urine for a couple of weeks so the American family could wash their hair.
What do you do in that situation. This was a gift and to refuse would be insulting but washing your hair in others urine is tough! (hoping theres no such customs in Vietnam :S)

Certainly not something Pamolive or Nutrogena would find easily marektable.
I know it's a bit out of the ordinary, but from my understanding urine is a sterile liquid (and in dire cicumstances some even advocat drinking it). But then maybe it was the fact of it being someone elses urine that was the big shock.
What did the family end up doing? Did they reflect on what the experience was like?
P.S. How's your humble seed in the pot going?

Yeah what did they do?
And yeah its sterile,a nd fine to drink once. If u drink the same lot twice I think its no good!
In the bush if you've got an open wound its the best thing to clean it with too! Handy stuff the old piss!

Yeah they weren't too impressed once they relised- think they got their way out of it but didn't really show the response.
Yeah it would prob be a eally good hair product- and it annoys me sometimes how we're so picky about stuff and stuck in our culture.
Mums cooking of meat at the moments be driving me nuts (so 'mushy', like living in a nursing home!) but when so many have nothing to eat what gives me any right to winge even internally.
Still would take a lot of soul searching for me to wash my hair with others urine.
